This month we want to recognize Heather Calver. Heather started with us through her home school at SCVi. She has been with us for a few short months, but has really blossomed as a rider and a student. From the beginning, Heather has been a horse lover and her personality has really been brought out through her riding sessions. She is smart, focused, and has natural balance on the horses. She has learned that horses are kind, but can be stubborn, and don’t always give us the response we desire. But that has never stumbled Heather. She is persistent and has really learned to use her commands to ask the horse to do whatever it is she needs. It is always amazing how horses always bring out the best in us. Heather seems shy and reserved, but get her riding gymkhana patterns, or leading students for a horsemanship class and she is laughing and joking with everyone. As her instructor and friend, I am enjoying watching her grow as a fellow equestrian and I enjoy seeing her have so much fun being at the ranch. It is a pleasure to have you with us Heather at Heavens Hoofprints, our hat goes off to you cowgirl!
